This is the first meeting of the SQL Saskatoon User Group.

The purpose of this meeting is to get an idea of what we hope to learn and discuss for the following year.  This user group I am hoping to make it a community driven group.  That is, I will be organizing things based on interest from the group.  But I do value the input from the group if there is something specific you would like to learn, we can schedule it in.

The location of this first meeting is currently scheduled for Rickie's 1715 Idlewyld Dr. N in Saskatoon.  If this changes, I will update this and email anybody who is subscribed.

The date and time for the meeting will be January 22nd, 2016 at 7:00 PM and it will be scheduled for 2 hours.  But we can go late or leave earlier.

This is a "meet and greet" meeting.  Future meetings will be more structured and planned, but this first one is to gauge interest in various topics.

Please come prepared to discuss the user group and SQL and to have fun.

Meet and Greet

Brian Gale, DBA Vecima Networks Inc

This first meeting is a meet and greet meeting. We will be discussing future meetings of the SQL Saskatoon User Group and scheduling talks and/or PASS recording viewing

About Brian:
I am an accidental DBA, but quite enjoy the job. There is always new things to learn and try. I have been working in the IT field professionally for approximately 7 years, and as a DBA for 4 years. Every day it feels like I learn something new and exciting about SQL and I still feel like I know hardly anything about it.
